📍Decimal Place Value
This reads 0.375 · each step right is 10× smaller · 0.375 = 375/1000
🧮Worked Example: 75% → Fraction

Percent means "per 100"
75% = 75/100
Drop the % sign and write the number over 100.

Simplify the fraction
75/100 = 3/4 (÷ 25 top & bottom)
75 ÷ 25 = 3 and 100 ÷ 25 = 4.

Check as a decimal
75% = 0.75 = 3/4
75 hundredths is 0.75 — all three forms match! ✓
